Project: Learn of Medina County Seeking Board Members

Project: Learn of Medina County’s mission is to enhance lives and strengthen communities by helping adults improve fundamental skills in reading, problem-solving, and the English language.

If your passion is helping people in our community to have better lives, success in the workplace and a love of reading, then serving on the Board of Director’s of Project: Learn, may be the place for you! We are looking for board members who have a passion for literacy, but also have a desire to be active in the community around them to bring awareness of Project: Learn’s mission.

Board meetings are typically the 3rd Thursday of the month in the evenings at the downtown Medina Library.  Discussion involves fundraising, budgets, association business, and bookstores.  Commitment also includes actively sitting or chairing a committee, such as fundraising, operations, or grant writing as examples.
