Matthew Wiederhold ’12 will serve as the State of Ohio Coordinator for Historic Preservation Advocacy Week in Washington DC, March 6-9, leading a team of 9 volunteers as they meet with Senators and Representatives on Capitol Hill to discuss Historic Preservation Tax Credits.

 

’14 The Class on Fire

Susana Lewis ’14, Chief Magistrate of the Medina County Probate & Juvenile Court,  is honored to announce her candidacy for judge of the Wadsworth Municipal Court.  She is on the ballot for the May 2, 2023, primary election.

Leslie Miller ’14 was elected President of Seville Village Council.

Shelly Wharton ’16, Associate Executive Director, The Society, is an “Excellence in Health Care Leadership” nominee for the upcoming Celebrating Excellence in Leadership Awards Ceremony on April 11, 2023, at the Blair Center.

Rachel Krauss ’17, Director of Student Services, Educational Service Center of Medina County,  is an “Excellence in Education Leadership” nominee for the upcoming Celebrating Excellence in Leadership Awards Ceremony on April 11, 2023, at the Blair Center.

 

’18 Self Driven Class

Debra Cordell ’18 was recently promoted from Production Control Supervisor to Production Control Manager at Eberhard Manufacturing in Strongsville.

 

‘19 The Difference Makers

Jessica Hazeltine ’19 is running for the Ohio Democratic Party State Central Committee on the May ballot. She was also appointed to the Medina County Planning Commission.

 

’20 In Focus

Julie Fetto ’20 remains the Chief Nursing Officer at Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital, but also currently serving as the Chief Nursing Officer for Akron General Medical Center while a search is conducted for a new CNO.  Julie is also an “Excellence in Health Care Leadership” nominee for the upcoming Celebrating Excellence in Leadership Awards Ceremony on April 11, 2023, at the Blair Center.

Stefanie Robinson ’20, Executive Director, Hope Recovery Community, is an “Excellence in Health Care Leadership” nominee for the upcoming Celebrating Excellence in Leadership Awards Ceremony on April 11, 2023, at the Blair Center.

Tracey Ruffin ’20 is being inducted into the Medina City Schools Hall of Fame on March 11th in the category of Academic/Career/Life Accomplishments.  She has also been appointed to the Global D&I Council that consists of 20 associates all over the globe. On a personal note, Tracey has also been invited to be on the speaker team on a mission trip to Ghana, Africa in July 2023!

Jason Venner ’20 is proud to announce that Clampco, being an exceptional place to work and a competitive player on the world stage, is keeping their business / employees in Wadsworth and Medina County and moving forward with an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESPO).  Employees will now have the added retirement benefit of valued stock.

 

’21 Resilient

Jen Anzalone ’21 joined the Medina County SPCA board.

Kim Wolff ’21 has been nominated to serve as Secretary, Executive Board Member for The Ohio Association for Behavior Analysis for another term.  She was also selected as a speaker alongside 2 colleagues from Massachusetts to speak at OHABA’s annual conference on Healthcare Compliance and Audits: Preventing Fraud, Waste, and Abuse in March.

Nathan Eppink ’22, Director, Medina County Park District, is an “Excellence in Public Service” nominee for the upcoming Celebrating Excellence in Leadership Awards Ceremony on April 11, 2023, at the Blair Center.

Katy Fuerst 22, Executive Director, Feeding Medina County, is an “Excellence in Public Service” nominee for the upcoming Celebrating Excellence in Leadership Awards Ceremony on April 11, 2023 at the Blair Center.

Stephanie Mueller ’22, Membership & Events Coordinator, Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce, is an “Excellence in Business” nominee for the upcoming Celebrating Excellence in Leadership Awards Ceremony on April 11, 2023, at the Blair Center.

Jenny Young ’22 and her company SHE Did It Videography is partnering with current LEAD 2023 classmate Samantha Steele Hang and Medina County’s Simply Social Kristen to offer Content Pop-Up events. Events are $30 each and will provide social media support and photo/ opportunities every second Monday in 2023. Email me for more information or to sign up for our March 13th date. March location TBD, but our goal is to collaborate with local businesses for event hosting/prop opportunities.

 

LEAD ‘22

Joana Swim LEAD ’22 has recently joined the Board of Directors for Project LEARN of Medina County and has also joined TeamNEO’s Talent Development Council to help the region’s business leaders and higher education institutions understand and explore opportunities to narrow the region’s talent supply/demand gap.
