June Class Notes

Our Leadership Heroes- Going Above and Beyond

These comments have been submitted by Leadership Medina County Alumni, recognizing groups and individuals that have taken an active role in guiding our community during an uncertain time.

Krista Wasowski Class of ‘14 The Class on Fire, for her incredible leadership during this crisis. Her ability to communicate thoroughly and effectively, her ability to keep other factors like the economy and mental health in mind while enforcing orders, and being a resource to so many has been incredible.

Dr. Daryl Kubilus has shown that a school district is truly the heart of the community. His leadership both before and during the crisis has led his staff, students, and community through the difficulties of finishing the school year and planning for the future while meeting the needs for families to have meals. In week 11 of the crisis he delivered 5,600 meals to families in the Cloverleaf district.

Grant Aungst of the city of Brunswick who has calmly led the business community to think ahead of problems, helping them connect to resources, while also maintaining connections with other cities and the county to help businesses with a unified approach.

Adrianne Krauss of Main Street Wadsworth for helping the Wadsworth community and business community come together and help support each other.

Dr. Andy Hill of Wadsworth City Schools who has maintained his eye on the future while dealing with the challenges of today moving forward with strategic planning while meeting the needs of his community.
