’97  The Perfect Class

Skip Sipos ’97 was recently elected President of the State Housing Authority Risk Pool (SHARP) Association; SHARP is the self-insurance pool of 40 Housing Authorities in Ohio with over $1 billion in insured assets.

 

’09  A Class Act

Linda Garett ’09 with “A Room With A View Studio” was honored to be part of the two-year restoration of the McDowell-Phillips House on Prospect Street in Medina for the Medina County Historical Society. Linda and the Medina County Historical Society were recognized for their efforts by the Cleveland Restoration Society.

 

’10 The Social Class

Mike Kovack ’15, Medina County Auditor, attended the 34th reunion of Navy participants in Operation Preying Mantis in Washington, D.C. last month. He was a Lieutenant aboard USS Lynde McCormick (DDG-8) during the attack, serving as the communication / intelligence officer.

 

 

’15 The Bridge Builders Class

Kevin Rych ’15 was recognized and received the Cloverleaf Pride Award on May 18th at the Cloverleaf High School.

 

 

‘19 The Difference Makers

Jessica Hazeltine ’19 has been appointed to the Battered Women’s Shelter and Rape Crisis Center Board of Summit and Medina Counties.

 

 

’22 The Phoenix

John Baker ’22  is now the Chief Nursing Officer for Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital in Tuscarawas County effective June 1.

 

 

LEAD ‘22

Bonnie Romano LEAD ’22 will be starting her new position with Polaris Career Center at Brooklyn High School as their Project Lead the Way Teacher on June 6.  She will be teaching Introduction to Engineering Design and Civil Engineering / Architecture.
