Join us in celebrating the LMC Emerging Leaders Class of 2019 at their graduation dinner on Thursday, February 7 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm at Weymouth Grand Ballroom, 3946 Weymouth Road, Medina. Are you or someone you know interested in learning about our LMC programs?
Join us on February 20th for our Awareness Social at Williams-on-the-Lake from 4:30pm-6:30pm. Meet Leadership Medina County alumni and learn more about the Signature and Emerging Leaders programs. Information will also be available for our Junior Leadership program. Leadership Medina County develops more effective leadership by showcasing Medina County’s strengths, examining its problems, and inspiring everyone to engage in solutions. Ticket includes appetizers, soda, wine, and beer. Register here

If you are an alumni and interested in ordering a new LMC name badge with the new logo on it, please contact Stephanie Zingaro at email@example.com or call (330) 721-7118. Badges are $10 each and can be picked up at the LMC office. Orders will be placed monthly.

Class member of the current Emerging Leaders Class take advantage of an Out of Class Experience hosted by Sandridge Food Corporation.
Leadership Medina County Emerging Leaders got to hear from Denise Testa, Director of The University of Akron, Medina County University Center about George Washington and Servant Leadership, think about personal bias and the importance of diversity from Susan Vlcek, Retired Junior Leadership Medina County Director and how to best make a delivery from Vicky Nann, District Director of Toastmasters International District 10.

On Wellness Day, the Class of 2019, The Difference Makers, learned there are many pathways to health. In Medina County, there are many doors where help is available. From the Health Department and Free Clinic to our local hospitals to addiction resources, our community is working together to make sure everyone is receiving health care and support. We hope you will take a few minutes to review the resources below and find a way to be involved. Read more

Government Academy – next workshop on Agriculture, Agritainment, Agritourism, and Food Insecurity on February 21, 2019
The Government Academy is a series of workshops offered through the OSU Extension Medina County and Leadership Medina County for individuals interested in learning about the mechanics and philosophies that impact government action. Workshops are taught by experts and faculty from The Ohio State University, local attorneys, elected officials and subject matter experts.
