’92  The Charter

Kenneth Dobies ’92 retired on December 9, 2022, from Broward County.  Congratulations and enjoy your retirement!

 

’01 The Synergetic

Kyle White ’01 received her certification in Appreciative Inquiry from Case Western Reserve.

 

’10 The Social Class

Tina Gienger ’10 recently accepted a new position at Applied Composites, Brooklyn Heights, OH as a Procurement/Buyer.

Sue Myers ’10 was recently elected to serve on the Better Business Bureau of Akron (serving Ashland, Medina, Portage, Richland, Summit & Wayne Counties), starting in 2023.

 

’13 The Visionary Class

Christopher O’Connell ’13 accepted a new position as Account Manager at Hudson Technologies.

 

’15 The Bridge Builders Class

Ann Conrad ’15 graduated in December 2022 from Kent State with her Ph. D in Higher Education Administration.

Kimberly Marshall ’15 was voted in as the Chair of the Ohio Public Works Commission in November, serving on the Commission since November 2018.  She has also been elected to serve on the Ohio Economic Development Association Board of Directors for a Two-Year Term representing her peers in NE Ohio.

 

’16 Silver Jubilee

Ryan Carlson ’16 is the 2023 President of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors ~ Cleveland Chapter.

Jeffrey Hicks ’16 is the Head Principal at Medina County Career Center.

Janice Jokkel ’16 is launching Community Connectors, a business digest that will be featuring Medina County’s most sought-after resources. Sent directly to local businesses, the monthly print and digital publication blended with their “Be Informed” monthly newsletter will provide affordable advertising that builds business branding, creating consistency that will drive decision-makers to the doorsteps of small businesses in the community.

Mark Priebe ’16 is now a part of the new Executive Committee on the MCEDC Board.  He is also the new Board Chair for Medina County Economic Development Corp.

 

’18 Self Driven Class

Danica Zeise ’18 accepted the position of Marketing Director at Guard1 by TimeKeeping Systems where she began her new role in July.  Danica is also the Board Chairperson for The Battered Women’s Shelter & Rape Crisis Center for Summit & Medina Counties.  These two organizations are the entities that run the Hope & Healing Resource Center.  Her term in this role is 2022 & 2023.

 

’19 The Difference Makers

Joseph Kott ’19 began a new position as VP of Engineering at Enprotech, LLC.

 

Emerging Leaders ‘19

Kari Deeks, EL’19,  has been appointed to the Community Action Wayne/Medina board by the Medina County Commissioners with her term beginning Jan. 1, 2023.

 

’20 In Focus

Gail Ebey ’20 accepted the position of Lodi Library Branch Manager at MCDL.

 

21 Resilient

Jason Sanders ’21 has been elected Board President of Main Street Wadsworth.

 

LEAD ’22

Robin Serwatka LEAD ’22 is a member of the Board for Friends of DBA.  She shared they will be hosting “Diamonds & Denim Benefit Concert,” their first event since the pandemic on March 25, 2023, at the Music Box Supper Club. The Tyler Reid Band will be the entertainment, and everyone is invited for a fun night out.  Please contact Robin directly for ticket information or for donations at (330) 321-1517.

Brooke Wendt LEAD ’22 finished her Principal License with BGSU this semester and is also going to be presenting at a webinar in January with the curriculum she uses with Education Associates.

 

Signature ’23

Sarah Kost ’23 accepted a new position as Director of Sales at Sincerest Hospice.

Denise Dawkins LEAD ’23 is now a member of the Suicide Prevention Coalition.

Rachael Jolly-Kosakowski LEAD ’23 was promoted to the Medina County Employer & Community Engagement Professional.  She also joined the Board of Directors for Project: LEARN of Medina County and the Board of Directors for the Fairlawn Area Chamber of Commerce.
