’98 The Favorite

Nancy Abbott, running for re-election as Clerk of Court for the Medina Municipal Court. The Court district includes the Cities of Medina and Brunswick; Villages of Spencer and Chippewa Lake; Townships of Hinckley, Spencer, Chatham, Brunswick Hills, Liverpool, York, Litchfield. Lafayette, Medina, Montville and Granger.

’09 A Class Act

Gregg Cullings, changed jobs and is now a Sales Engineer for Abtrex Industries Inc.

’10 The Social Class

Bethany Dentler, Medina County Economic Development Corporation, was selected by NOACA Board President Adam Friedrick to chair the Business Advisory Council of the Northeast Ohio Area Coordinating Agency for 2017. NOACA is a transportation and environmental planning agency serving Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, and Medina Counties. Bethany was also recently elected to serve as the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Northeast Ohio Trade & Economic Consortium, a multi-county regional economic development partnership that administers Foreign Trade Zones 40 and 181 and provides international trade assistance.

’15 The Bridge Builders Class

Rhonda Wurgler, The Children’s Center of Medina County, was made an Honorary Rotarian at the Medina Sunrise Rotary.

’16 Silver Jubilee

Larry Cray, after serving out an unexpired term, Larry has been reappointed to serve a full four year term on the Medina County Board of Elections, beginning March 1, 2017.

’17 The Collaborators

Cheryl Murrin, Westfield Bank, started serving on the Board of Main Street Medina in January.

’15 Emerging Leaders
Matthew Mattie, Medina City Schools, was recently elected as a member of Medina County Family First Council, serving on the Youth Advisory and Family Advisory Committees.
