’01  The Synergetic

Denise “Nisi” Pozderac, Transitional Living Centers, was recognized as a Women of our Community recipient and 2018 ATHENA Award Nominee on October 10, 2018. The event is hosted by The Medina County Women’s Journal.

’06  The Enterprising

Johanna Perrino, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Kovack Realtors, has been awarded the OAR President’s Sales Club Award of Achievement, which is attained by only 10% of Ohio Realtors, and is given to realtors who have sold over $2 million in the past year.

’12 The Rain/Shine Class

Michelle Powell, Let’s Make A Difference, was recognized as a Women of our Community recipient and 2018 ATHENA Award Winner on October 10, 2018. The event is hosted by The Medina County Women’s Journal.

’13 The Visionary Class

Gordon Bowen, LifeBanc, received an Executive Coaching Certificate from Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.

’14 The Class On Fire


Dean Harris, was chosen by the Western Reserve Transit Authority Board of Trustees as WRTA’s new Executive Director and will begin his tenure on October 17. Western Reserve Transit Authority (AKA WRTA) is the public transit system for Youngstown.


Ann Plazek, Medina County District Library, was recognized as a Women of our Community recipient and 2018 ATHENA Award Nominee on October 10, 2018. The event is hosted by The Medina County Women’s Journal.


Krista Wasowski, Medina County Health Department, was recognized as a Women of our Community recipient and 2018 ATHENA Award Nominee on October 10, 2018. The event is hosted by The Medina County Women’s Journal.

’18 Self Driven Class

Matt Baker, DS Benefits Group, has been selected to receive the Achievements in Excellence Award, sponsored by the Akron/Canton affiliate of National Sales & Marketing Executives. This honor annually recognizes outstanding accomplishments of sales and marketing professionals in the Northeastern Ohio area. He has also become a member of Westfield Banks Medina Advisory Board.
