’08  That Class

Stephen Neal, accepted a new position at Citizens Bank, Medina Branch as their Relationship Manager.

’11 The Emerald Class

Kathy Breitenbucher, Medina County Economic Development Corporation, has been appointed to the board of the Minority Business Assistance Center (MBAC). The MBAC supports businesses owned by minorities, disabled, veterans, and women and help with certification, contact procurement, and other support services to help these business flourish.

’15 The Bridge Builders Class

Melanie Kasten-Krause, SHC/The Arc of Medina County, was nominated for the 2019 Serve Ohio Award! The Ohio Commission on Service & Volunteerism recognized those making a difference through volunteerism in Ohio. Melanie not only is a passionate advocate for SHC, Medina County, but the entire state serving on many non profit boards, including the Ohio Provider Resource Association Ohio Provider Resource Association.

’16 Silver Jubilee

Shelly Wharton, SHC/The Arc of Medina County, received the Medina County Health Department’s 2018 Volunteer Award for her service to the Medina County Medical Reserves Corps. Her dedication to working with our nursing team makes a difference in Medina County.

’18 Self Driven Class

Deborah Boehmke, accepted a new position at Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities as their Economic Developer.

’19 The Difference Makers

Jessica Hazeltine, received her CDCA license- Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant. This license is obtained through the state of Ohio Chemical Dependency Board and will allow her to perform treatment planning, assessment, crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, case management, and education services as they relate to abuse of or dependency on alcohol and other drugs. It also allows her to refer individuals with non-chemical dependency conditions to appropriate sources of help.
