’92  The Charter

Rob Rapp, Homestead Insurance Agency, celebrated the birth of a new grandson, Ethan James Rapp, on April 2nd to son Brandon Rapp ’13.

’94  The Finest

Sandy Calvert, received the Republican Party Faithful Award in recognition of Exemplary Commitment of Time, Talent and Wisdom to the Republican Party and the Conservative Cause at the Medina County Republican Party ‘Lincoln Day Dinner’ in March.  Sandy has also been asked to join the Ohio Federation of Republican Women Board of Directors as Chair of Political Education and Legislative Advocacy.

’03  The Futurist

Valerie Rapp,
Homestead Insurance Agency, celebrated the birth of new grandson, Ethan James Rapp, on April 2nd to son Brandon Rapp ’13.

’05  The Ultimate

Mark Abood, joined Colliers International | Cleveland – Akron office as Senior Vice President and Principal on April 9. http://www.crainscleveland.com/article/20180419/news/158741/mark-abood-joins-colliers-principal He was also a speaker at the O’Neill Bankruptcy Institute in a segment entitled The Aftermath: Real Estate Acquisition and Disposition Strategies.


Christopher Kalina, Medina County Career Center, was appointed to the Ohio Department of Education Career Connections Advisory Committee.

’11 The Emerald Class

Matt Marquard, M.C. Real Estate will be opening a new office in Wadsworth at 102 Main Street, in the old FirstMerit space downtown. They are shooting for a May 15th opening and official grand opening on June 14th!

’13 The Visionary Class

Gordon Bowen, Lifebanc, in March was elected as Vice President to the Board for Transplant House of Cleveland that provides short and long-term housing for patients and families waiting for an organ transplant.


Ellen Hunter, Hunter Insurance Agency, is now serving as Chair of the Medina Hospital Foundation Board of Directors. She has been serving on the Board since June of 2016.


Brandon Rapp, Homestead Insurance Agency, celebrated the birth of new son, Ethan James Rapp, on April 2nd.  Proud grandparents Rob Rapp ’92 and Valerie Rapp ’03.

’15 The Bridge Builders Class

Vicky Nann, Hay Mountain Marketing, LLC, was elected the Toastmasters International District 10 District Director for 2018-2019 on Saturday, May 5. The District Director is the highest-ranking leadership role in the Northeastern Ohio district of approximately 2,000 members. Since 1924, Toastmasters International has been recognized as the leading organization dedicated to communication and leadership skill development. Through its worldwide network of clubs, each week Toastmasters helps more than a quarter million men and women of every ethnicity, education level and profession build their competence in communication so they can gain the confidence to lead others.

’16 Silver Jubilee
