’97  The Perfect

Mead Wilkins, Catholic Charities of Cleveland, was selected as the winner of the 2018 Louis Stokes Community Service Award. This is the highest honor granted by the Alumni Association of the Mandel School for Applied Social Sciences to an alumnus who embodies the socially-minded characteristics of the late beloved and honorable Congressman Louis Stokes.

’10 The Social Class

Jon Bluebond, Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities, formally announced his retirement as Superintendent effective December 31, 2018.


Mike Kovack, Medina County Auditor’s Office, was recently elected president of the Northeast Ohio Auditors Association. The association is made up of membership of 22 counties in the state joined together for the purpose of advancing excellence in public service. This is the third time Auditor Kovack has been selected by his peers as president.


Sue Myers, Huntington Bank, was elected to the board as Vice Chair of Sponsorships for CREW Greater Akron.

’13 The Visionary Class

Andrea Lyons, started a new position as Director of Strategic Communications at the United Way of Greater Cleveland.

’16 Silver Jubilee

Radiah Douglas, Cuyahoga Community College, was voted to be a Board Member for Medina County Economic Development Corp effective 1/1/2019 for a 3-year term.


Elena K’Meyer, PNC Bank, was voted to be a Board Member for Medina County Economic Development Corp effective 1/1/2019 for a 3-year term.


Mark Priebe, Proximity Marketing, was voted to be a Board Member for Medina County Economic Development Corp effective 1/1/2019 for a 3-year term.
