|Leadership Medina County is proud to announce the 17th Junior Leadership Class. Participants met for the opening retreat August 24, 2019, at RPM International Inc. Along with engaging in various leadership-based activities, students heard from RPM’s Senior Finance Director, Kristine Schulze ’16, about the history of the company as well as her own career and leadership experience.
Several students commented that the day was fun as well as meaningful. This year’s cohort will spend one day per month during the upcoming school year traveling around Medina County learning about local businesses, non-profits, and leadership opportunities.
The class features 47 high school juniors from private, home school, and public schools around Medina County. Of this year’s roster, Carrie Park ’16, Director of the Junior Leadership program said, “We have a strong group of future leaders and I am very excited to introduce them to all Medina County has to offer.”
Junior Leadership Medina County is a program for high school juniors who reside in Medina County. Their mission is to help young leaders recognize their own potential and make a difference in their school and community. Applications are available in the spring at www.leadershipmedinacounty.org.
