Leadership Medina County Receives Westfield Insurance Foundation Volunteer Grant
Leadership Medina County is the recipient of a $500 grant from Westfield Insurance Foundation’s Volunteer Grant Program. Terri Grimm, Westfield employee and a volunteer with Leadership Medina County, was awarded the grant based on her volunteer commitment to the organization.
“Being a part of the 2011 class of Leadership Medina County was an experience that changed my life and continues to make me a better person,” said Terri Grimm. “I’m grateful for the connections I’ve made over the years, and supporting an organization that strives to make Medina County a better place for all of us is the best way I know to show my appreciation.”
Terri Grimm volunteered countless hours as the chair of the Marketing Committee and serves on the Board of Trustees.
“Medina County is powered by volunteers like Terri Grimm who give of their time, talents and compassion to make Medina County a better place to live, work, and play,” said Colleen Rice, Executive Director. “Terri supports the mission of Leadership Medina County to educate, involve, and connect leaders in Medina County. She is a marvelous marketer, story teller, and innovator.”
Leadership Medina County is a nonprofit, educational and leadership development organization which exists to build and maintain a county wide network of talented, responsible, and dynamic leaders, who learn first hand about issues facing Medina County and who serve by assisting in addressing those issues.
Westfield Insurance Foundation’s Volunteer Grant Program was designed to connect to communities through employee volunteer action. Employees of Westfield can apply annually.
