Signature Class: Opening Retreat

The Signature Class of 2026 has launched a transformative journey for its members. Thirty-nine leaders selected from across Medina County to engage in meaningful activities designed to build strong connections and enhance their leadership skills. This annual retreat, at The Blair Center in Westfield, sets the stage for a year of collaboration, growth, and community impact.
From icebreakers like the Name Game to engaging team activities, the class quickly built bonds to support them throughout their journey. Smiles, laughter, and thoughtful reflection set the tone for what promises to be an extraordinary year.
During Signature’s two-day Opening Retreat, Griff Hall led participants in exploring adaptive leadership, group dynamics, and strategies for working through differences. They also had the chance to connect with Leadership Medina County staff, board members, and alumni.
The retreat left the class with an important takeaway: leadership is not a title, but an action anyone can take. As they move forward, the Signature Class of 2026 will play an active role in collaborating with the LEAD Institute to strengthen Leadership Medina County in celebration of its 35th anniversary.
The energy, passion, and depth of connection already demonstrated by this class give us every reason to be excited for the year ahead.
