’92  The Charter

Elaine Reichart ’92 is starting a new position as Program Assistant at Akron Public Schools.

 

’96  The Brightest

John Burke ’96 won 2ndplace in the juried craft contest for his traditional Lakota Sioux dance bustle at the 60th annual National Tecumseh Pow-Wow in Indiana on September 4, 2021 – September 5, 2021. With an attendance of over 2,000, there were 24 tables of Native Americans and non-Natives competing in the contest.

 

’05  The Ultimate

Dianne DePasquale-Hagerty’05 opened up the first “Lifestyle Living” concept for developmentally-disabled adults in Cuyahoga County with a Ribbon Cutting and Open House at our Middleburg Heights Creative Living complex on Friday, October 1, 2021.  She is also pleased to announce that Medina Creative Housing received an award for financial literacy training.

 

’08  That Class

Thomas Sigel ‘08 has been appointed as a new Homer Township Trustee in January. He is so excited to apply his business and leadership skills to help the Township.

 

’12 The Rain/Shine Class

Lizbeth Kohler ’12 announced that as of Nov 1, 2021, she will be the Director of Volunteer Support and Services for Girl Scouts of Northeast Ohio.

 

’13 Visionary Class

Chris O’Connell ’13 started as Senior Service Sales Account Manager at Carrier HVAC.

 

’14 The Class On Fire

Jacinda Yonker ’14 was named the Advisory Board Member of the Year by the Medina County Career Center.

Kristopher Brown, Emerging Leaders Class of 2014 Spring, started a new position as Chief Financial Officer at Trionetics Inc.

 

’20 In Focus

Kristin Baum ’20 and her husband welcomed a new baby boy!

Jennifer Bilek ’20 earned a Master’s of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Malone University.

Megan Millikin ’20 married her fiancé, Joana Santos.

Kevin New ’20 has been promoted to Assistant Vice President at Dollar Bank

Michelle Wedlake ’20 has relocated to Fort Myers in June, took the summer off and accepted a position as Lifestyle Director with First Service Residential at the Tidewater By Del Webb community!

 

’21 The Resilient

John Liebler ’21 is proud to announce that the Serenite Restaurant and Culinary Institute was named Best in Show at the “Taste of Medina” hosted by United Way of Summit and Medina Counties.

 

Class of 2022

Brian Frasier LEAD Institute ’22 was recently elected as a Director for the Board of the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) The ACFE is the world’s largest anti-fraud organization and premier provider of anti-fraud training and education. Together with nearly 85,000 members, the ACFE is reducing business fraud world-wide and inspiring public confidence in the integrity and objectivity within the profession.
