Here’s a recap of this inspiring and insightful day:

Morning: Cloverleaf Middle/High School

The day kicked off at Cloverleaf Middle/High School, a stunning new facility designed to meet the needs of 21st-century students. Participants learned about the school’s unique approach to education, including:

  • Overcoming Food Insecurity – Every student in the district receives free breakfast and lunch, ensuring no child goes hungry.
  • Using a 21st Century Facility to Help Students Achieve – Mr. Dominic Wilson guided the class through the ways modern infrastructure supports learning.
  • Educating Students with Special Needs in 2025 – Mrs. Nicki Stalter and Mrs. Melissa Vorhies shared insights into inclusive education.
  • Helping Students Connect Outside the Classroom – Mr. Adam Lewis discussed extracurricular opportunities that foster student engagement.
  • Student Mentoring Programs – Mr. John Gladden detailed the importance of mentorship in student success.

A special moment of the day? Superintendent Dr. Daryl Kubilus gave us a tour around the schools, pointing out both structural and non-structural beams in the building that were signed by students and faculty before and during the construction of the new building!
