February Class Notes

’93  The Best

Thomas Arnold ’93 is proud to announce that his granddaughter, Ellie Radabaugh, (Junior Leadership Class of 2021) is a sophomore at Bowling Green State University pursuing a teaching degree and specializing in “Special Ed.”  She is now overseas in England where she will spend her second semester studying at Keele University in Staffordshire.

 

’06  The Enterprising

Doug Beeman ’06 is the Treasurer of the 2023 Wadsworth Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. His second term expires 12-31-2023.

’11 The Emerald Class

Deb Boerger ’11 is now among “the retired”.  After 45 years in the investment advisory business, she decided it was time to “turn the page” and move on to the next chapter.  Now, she says, it’s trying to figure out exactly what that is!  Congratulations, Deb!

Krista Wasowski ’14 joined the Board of the National Association of County and City Health Officials in January 2023 as the Region 5 Director representing Ohio, Minnesota, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin.   NACCHO represents over 3000 local and tribal health departments across the U.S.

 

’15 The Bridge Builders Class

Vicky Nann ‘15, is co-chair for the 7th International Conference on Hate Studies. She is an advisory board member of Gonzaga University’s Center for the Study of Hate, a sponsor of the conference. ’16 Silver Jubilee

Zig Novak ’16 is a second-term member of the 2023 Wadsworth Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.  His term expires 12-31-2024.

‘19 The Difference Makers

Edward Kinney ’19 Medina Police Chief was voted into the position of president of the Medina County Police Chief’s Association.  This new positions took effect in January.

Dustin Fowkes ’19 is the Vice-president of the 2023 Wadsworth Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.  His second term expires 12-31-2025.

’21 Resilient

Matthew Neil ’21 was voted into the Vice-President’s position of the Medina County Police Chief’s Association.  This new position took effect in January.

Matt Addis ’21 is the new President of the Wadsworth Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.  His second term expires 12-31-2024.

LEAD 2023

Stephanie Reed LEAD ’23 was recently appointed to the Strategic Plan Advisory Committee as Representative of Ward 1 through Medina City Council.  She also booked her first art show at Wrecking Crew Brew Works in August and also was asked to teach more children’s cooking classes at Cool Beans Cafe.
