’06 The Enterprising

Johanna Perrino (’06) has been awarded the OHIO REALTORS’ 2020 President’s Sales Club Award of Achievement, achieved by only the top 10 percent of all OHIO real estate agents.

She also was recognized as one of the TOP 200 AGENTS of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Northwood Realty Services company – the TOP 10% of over 2,000 agents. 

‘12 The Rain/Shine Class

Beth Tresch is an honoree in this year’s Smart Women Awards Conference. She is an honoree for the Progressive Women Award. This category was created for women who have risen through the ranks of their careers, overcoming significant challenges along the way. This Award is presented by Smart Business Cleveland and Cuyahoga Community College.

Terri Greene completed the Kansas Leadership Center Teaching Leadership Intensive Certification. Terri completed this 50-hour course of learning, practice, observation and assessment offered by the Kansas Leadership Center and is now certified to teach their leadership curriculum.

’14 Class on Fire

Ann Plazek, Outreach Services Manager at the Medina District Library, was one of three persons in the country awarded the John Philip Excellence in Outreach honor by the Association of Bookmobile and Outreach Services.  The award is presented in recognition of outstanding contributions and prominent leadership in outreach services.

Krista Wasowski was asked to serve on the Governor’s Fair Advisory Group to develop safety guidelines for Jr. Fairs in Ohio during COVID. https://coronavirus.ohio.gov/static/responsible/advisory/Fair-Advisory-Group.pdf

Kelly Poole accepted the role of Director of Community Engagement for Waite and Son Funeral Home.

’16 Silver Jubilee

Sarah Arend has retired from her role at the Medina Hospital Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Sarah and her husband have purchased a 35-acre farm in Southeast Ohio. After many years of educating the community about healthy eating, they have decided to contribute to healthy eating. They’ve started a permaculture farm using regenerative farming principles (i.e. lots of veggies, grass fed beef, pasture pork and free-range chickens.

‘18 Self Driven Class

Debbie Boehmke has accepted a position as the Executive Director of the Northern Medina County Chamber Alliance.

’19 Difference Makers

Kara Wolff was elected as Trustee and Delegate to the 2021 State Annual Meeting for the Medina County Farm Bureau at the MCFB Annual Meeting on 9/10/2020.

 

’20 In Focus Class

Kelly Parks recently joined the Medina County Arts Council as a Board Trustee.

Jennifer Bilek was appointed to Vice President of Human Resources and Community of Malone University and will be representing all of their employees on Collegium (President’s Leadership Team).
