’01 The Synergetic
Julianne Bedel ’01 Medina County District Library Director, Julianne Bedel was recently elected to a three-year term as MLIS Director on the Ohio Library Council Board of Directors. Bedel will represent MCDL and the voice of all Ohio library employees on the board. Her term begins Jan. 2023 and extends through 2025.

’06 The Enterprising
Stacy Bonitz ’06 is leading the 16th annual Trinity Rose Foundation Golf Outing, which is scheduled for Monday, September 19th at Weymouth Country Club. The proceeds from the outing will provide financial aid to local families dealing with childhood blindness, technology for school-aged clients of the Akron Low Vision Clinic, scholarship for a graduate student of optometry, and a research grant to help fund a cure for blindness. Johanna Perrino ‘06, a realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Stouffer Realty, received the Ohio Realtors President’s Sales Club Award of Achievement, which is awarded to the top 10% of all real estate agents in the State of Ohio. She is also the Operations and Community Relations Coordinator for WCTV (Wadsworth Community Television), and recently founded a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization called The WCTV Foundation, Inc., which provides supplemental support to WCTV as they seek to continue and expand the programming and services.

Melanie Kasten-Krause ’15 has received the Faithful Servant Award at the 35th annual Catholic Commissions of Wayne, Ashland, and Medina Harvest of Justice and Peace Awards Celebration.
’21 Resilient
Jason Sanders ’21 is worked with Main Street Wadsworth and took the lead on “Rumble on Main Street – Unmatched Family-Friendly Professional Wrestling” as a fundraiser held on Saturday, September 10th.
