The Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities is extending the deadline for 2020 Donor Scholarship applications until Thursday, April 30, 2020. The MCBDD is proud to  offer area high school seniors a chance to receive scholarship monies. This year the MCBDD Donor Scholarship will award one (1) $1500.00 scholarship. Applicants must be a current high school senior and have been accepted into an accredited training program in a field which may provide services to individuals with developmental disabilities. (i.e. special education, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, social work, behavioral sciences, etc.). Applicants must also demonstrate involvement in, or providing services to, individuals with developmental disabilities through activities such as Special Olympics, volunteering, job shadowing, etc.
 
Interested students must complete and submit a Donor Scholarship application form before Thursday, April 30, 2020, to be considered. Forms are available by calling 330-725-7751 ext. 273 or at www.mcbdd.org.
