My name is Randy Arehart.  I am a long time Medina resident and had the privilege of being a member of the Leadership class that founded the Junior Leadership program.  I have been retired for the last 4 years, but have been involved in substitute teaching in the Medina School system and the Career Center where I see a significant number of students who do not desire to go on to higher education but prefer to enter a trade by acquiring marketable skills.

Along that line I am involved through my church, Harvest Presbyterian Church here in Medina, in starting an English Second Language, ESL, class for adult immigrants, 18 years and up. We are hosting at the church on Jan. 28 from 6:00 PM to 8 PM (come anytime during the two hours) an introductory meeting open to all who are interested in signing up or learning more,

My thought is that  industry partners may want to hire or already employ people who would personally benefit themselves and the companies they work for by improving their English reading and speaking skills.  If we can be of service to these companies in this endeavor I can be contacted at the above email address or by phone at 330 606 8891, or I would be happy to discuss this program with you or your industry partners .  For more information go to harvestpca.church and scroll up to ESL press and scroll up again to the signup login.
