OSU Office of Extension, Medina and Lorain Counties Present “Introduction to Grant Writing” and “You Write the Grant” classes starting in March!

On March 26, OSU Extension Medina will be holding an Introduction to Grant Writing Workshop conducted by Kyle White, Community Development Educator. Participants will learn tips to be grant ready and techniques to identify a funding source that is a good fit for their organization.

A second workshop, You Write the Grant will build on the Introduction to Grant Writing course. You Write the Grant is a two-part workshop held on two separate days for three hours each day. The objective of this course is to write a winning grant proposal.
Participants will come to class prepared with a pre-identified grant source and will build a grant proposal from the ground up.

April 9 — Class #1 Students will prepare a draft for their grant with the support and guidance of the instructor. April 23 — Class #2 Students will continue work on their draft, critique each other’s work, and finalize their grant application, leaving with a ready to submit or near ready to submit grant proposal.
Time: 9 AM – 12 Noon

Cost: Two-part (two day) workshop is $100.00
